Home : Victoria Square
The City Council approached Fayne Robinson and Brent Brownlee as part of the square redevelopment. The council was eager to showcase the history of Christchurch through Fayne’s carvings. However, with only a year to complete the project and no suitable dry logs, an alternative solution was necessary. Thinking creatively, the multi-faceted team at Art Fetiche stepped in to contribute. The waka cnc was routered into two pieces, sandblasted and finally, the carvings were added off-site as shown in the pictures.
