Homer Tunnel Upgrade

The final phase of the project involved constructing a 35-meter-long avalanche shelter, which serves as the entrance to the tunnel.

This innovative shelter was meticulously designed to be both portable and modular, consisting of 165 pre-cast concrete modules that were assembled on-site resembling a colossal Lego construction.
